CORONATION PARK DEVELOPMENT

Vancouver-based Wesgroup Properties, would transform the 14.8-acre neighbourhood of more than 50 single-family homes across from the Inlet Centre SkyTrain station into a dense urban area — with approximately 2,900 new residential units in five high-rise towers, up to 40 storeys, and five six-storey buildings.

The proposal also includes 175 affordable rental units, 8,000 sq. ft. of daycare space along with 10,350 sq. ft. of retail space as well as 3.4 acres of park space, about 1.5 acres of which would be dedicated to the city as public park and the remainder would be semi-public open space.

The proposal includes an 8,000 square foot daycare, accommodating approximately 75-100 children.

NEW PUBLIC ART
The proposal includes $2 million in public art that will be located on site for new residents and existing community members to enjoy.


Wesgroup has submitted an Official Community Plan Amendment for Coronation Park to permit a mixed-use development with new pedestrian connections, a 1.5-acre park, a range of housing options, new local serving retail, amenity spaces for new residents, a daycare, and public art.
